There are several small or “relational” groups at the church that provide the opportunity to build deeper relationships with God and with fellow church members.
- Muskegon Methodist Men’s prayer breakfast at different churches every second Saturday of the month, 9:30-11:30.
- Lunch & Laughter – Temple women meet every second Tuesday of the month for a time of food and fellowship at area restaurants.
- Enneagram classes
- Temple men’s summer golf league
- Church day trips and retreats
Music is a very important part of the worship experience at Temple UMC and we provide a variety of opportunities for those with musical gifts. Our chancel choir rehearses at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and warms up at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays. New voices are always welcome! Contact Jackie Fisher, Music Director, for more information on how to get involved.
Temple Weather Policy: Wondering if Church is Closed?
If the weather outside is frightful, you may check WZZM-13 to see if worship service is canceled. If church is not canceled, but you are worried about the roads, we encourage you to stay home and stay safe! To sign up for text alerts regarding closings, go to wzzm13.com. Also, if Muskegon Heights Schools have a snow day, the church office might be closed. Please call the church before coming!
